Components to make up 280’ (85.3 m) #79 boom including one 30’ (9.1 m) #79 boom butt, one 20’ (6.1 m) #79 boom insert, four 40’ (12.2 m) #79 boom insert with equalizer platform, one 25’ (7.6 m) #79 transition insert, one 5’ (1.52 m) #79 boom top (15 sheaves), deflector sheave assembly (3 sheaves), boom equalizer (5 sheaves), steel rigging straps, and RCL hardware for No. 79 boom top. Automatic boom stop, physical air-cushioned boom stop, and 2,600’ (793 m) of boom hoist wire rope (can be used as load line on 2250). Components to make up 130’ (39.6 m) #44 mast including one 40’ (12.2 m) No. 44 mast butt, one 40’ (12.2m) #44 mast top (5 sheaves), physical mast stop, wire rope guide, and steel rigging straps. Main hoist drum assembly grooved for 1-1/8” wire rope mounted in #79 boom butt section. MAX-ER counterweight backhitch straps and cylinders, mast backhitch straps, load pin, and 3-position extender frame for 30’ (9.1 m), 40’ (12.2 m), and 50’ (15.2 m) MAX-ER counterweight positions. Integrated boom and mast adapter frame. (Add wire rope separately.) Mast and Boom walkways are standard. 381,200 lb. (172,910 kg) of total counterweight consisting of twelve boxes @ 13,000 lb. (5,896 kg), four boxes @ 20,000 lb. (9,074 kg), six boxes @ 14,200 lb. (6441 kg), and four boxes @ 15,000 lb. (6,806 kg). Wheeled 78,800 lb. (35,743 kg) counterweight tray assembly with eight wheels, hydraulic support jacks and pads, and 3-position (travel, crab, and rotate) steering capability for a grand total of 460,000 lb. (208,661 kg) of counterweight. 4,400 of 1-1/8″ (28.5 mm) rotation resistant liftcrane load line. Detachable upper boom point with one 30” (76 cm) dia. tapered roller bearing sheave with rope guard for liftcrane (includes RCL and block-up limit hardware). 15′ (4.6 m) No. 79-44 transition insert with walkway and stowable steel rigging straps and sheave assembly (used to make-up the No. 79/44 long-reach boom).
